Get paid in dollars, without holding anybody's card data.
A ShyPay payment is a USDC transfer on Solana that settles into a wallet you control. There is no card number crossing your till, no cardholder profile to protect, and no interchange chain between you and the money.
What accepting ShyPay actually means.
Stated as commitments of the system being built, because merchant pilots are not open yet.
Settlement in USDC, to your wallet
The customer approves and signs a transfer to the address your checkout presented, and the funds are yours at settlement rather than after a batch cycle. The Solana network fee is a fraction of a cent and is paid by the customer from their own wallet; you are not co-signing anything and you do not pay it.
No card data to store
There is no card in the flow, so there is no card number to hold, tokenise, or lose. The smallest data breach is the one you never had the data for.
No chargeback window
A settled Solana transfer is final. That removes chargeback fraud, and it equally removes the reversal route, so refunds are something you issue deliberately as a new payment.
You sign the request, not the customer's trust
Your register issues a signed payment request. The customer's wallet verifies your issuer key, the amount, the asset, and the expiry before the customer sees a number.
You get a reference, not a person
You receive a confirmed payment and the paying wallet address. Each payment carries a unique reference, so you can match it to the sale in your own system. ShyPay does not hand you the customer's name or funding source. Payments are recorded on Solana's public ledger like any other transfer.
Your obligations stay yours
Accepting a stablecoin does not change your tax, accounting, or licensing position. Take your own advice on how it is treated where you operate.
Two routes to the same payment.
You can accept ShyPay directly as a vendor, or through a checkout running ProxyPay's point-of-sale integration. ShyPay and ProxyPay are separate companies under common ownership, and that relationship is disclosed to our providers and partners. They are built to run on separate systems, and ShyPay does not receive merchant records or what you bought.
Direct
You present a signed payment request from your own system to a wallet address you control. Suited to vendors who already run their own checkout.
Through ProxyPay
ProxyPay's point-of-sale integration issues the request from the register and reconciles the settlement, so the till flow looks like any other tender.
What the separation is for
The two are built to run on separate systems, and ShyPay does not receive your sales records or what a customer bought.
What it does not buy you
It is not an endorsement or a certification of either company by the other. It is a structural boundary, and we describe it as exactly that.
What ShyPay may not be used to sell.
A business accepting ShyPay must comply with applicable federal and state law. These restrictions will form part of any merchant agreement, and they are published now so nobody plans around a business we cannot support.
- Goods or services that are unlawful under applicable federal or state law, including where an activity is lawful in one state but not under federal law.
- Controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medicines sold without a valid prescription.
- Weapons, ammunition, and related items where their sale or transfer is restricted or prohibited.
- Stolen goods, counterfeit goods, and anything that infringes another party's intellectual property.
- Sexual services, and any material involving the sexual exploitation of children.
- Gambling, lotteries, and games of chance operated without the licences that activity requires.
- Unlicensed money transmission, currency exchange, or payment processing on behalf of third parties.
- Fraud, deceptive practices, pyramid and Ponzi schemes, and the sale of personal data.
- Any transaction with a sanctioned person, entity, or jurisdiction, or any activity intended to evade sanctions.

Nothing here is live yet.
ShyPay is in development. There is no merchant programme to sign, no published pricing, no live integration, and no store accepting ShyPay today. We would rather tell you that now than let you plan around a product that does not exist.
If accepting a payment like this would be useful to you, write to hello@shypayments.com and describe the business and the checkout you run. We will come back to you when there is something real to pilot.
No pricing published
Because none has been set. When it is, it will be on this page with the terms attached.
No merchants to name
There are none yet, so there are no logos, no case studies, and no quotes on this site.
No launch date promised
We will not publish a date we cannot keep. Early access is the honest version of a timeline.
